EVM Analysis shows, in Excel, how you allocated baseline dollars and labor
hours to various Earned Value Methods or Techniques. It also shows how much
of the baseline remains to be claimed as BCWP.
Step 1 -
Click "EVM Analysis"
With the file to be processed open and active, click EVM Analysis
on the SDSI EV Tools toolbar as shown (you may also select it from
the SDSI EV Tools menu under the Tools drop-down menu). |

Step 2 -
Click "ok"
Once activated, you will see the following informational dialog box,
which explains the tools operation. Simply click “OK”
for processing to begin. |

Step 3 -
Click "ok"
Once processing is complete, Excel will launch and you will see the
following informational dialog box. Be sure to disposition the results
in the Excel file before clicking “OK” on this box. |

Step 4 -
Your Excel Report
Your Excel file breaks down the project’s budget by Earned
Value Method or Technique. In addition, it shows, again by Earned
Value Method or Technique, how much of the project’s budget
has yet to be claimed as BCWP.
